Lisa was trained and certified by Wedding Careers Institute and graduated at the top of her class with score among the highest in the program's history. The Certification Program is an international training program for wedding professionals teaching the design, decor and direction of weddings and extraordinary events worldwide. In 2002, Lisa became one of only two instructors teaching the certification program to future wedding and event professionals. In addition, Lisa completed extensive training in the wedding floral design program offered by WCI. The program curriculum encompasses the construction and design of floral arrangements for weddings and special events, table-scapes, design and decor using the finest linens, overlays, crystal, china and silver. This certification enables Lisa to offer her clients the most comprehensive information to assist in the visual aspects of planning weddings, events and the floral needs that go with them. Through this program and her display of creative expertise, Lisa was invited to act as consultant and a working participant in elaborate weddings, events and galas at Donald Trump's Beach Estate in Palm Beach, Mar-a-Lago and fabulous events in Atlanta, Dallas, Boston and Las Vegas.
Lisa specializes in planning and directing weddings, is knowledgeable in multi-cultural weddings, inter-faith marriages, destination weddings and theme weddings. When planning, Lisa ensures proper etiquette, style and creativity into every aspect of a wedding. With a wealth of business acumen to her credit, budget planning, vendor negotiations, contract review and so much more are made easy with Lisa.
Lisa has over fifteen years in the wedding industry and offers expertise and experience not easily matched in today's business environment. She started I Deux Weddings in Atlanta and over the years, opened two other locations in Dallas and Naples, Florida. Lisa has showcased her work in leading bridal magazines. She has appeared and was interviewed on a Dallas Cable Network Wedding Show and one of her weddings was featured on The Learning Channel's series "Sheer Dallas". Lisa's passion for this industry is evident in every event she works on, from an intimate beach wedding for two or an extravaganza for hundreds Lisa will exceed your expectations with her creativity, style and panache.
Lisa served as the 2007 National Secretary for the National Association of Wedding Professionals; served as the 2007 Vice President of the Naples Chapter of the National Association of Wedding Professionals; served as the 2003, 2004 and 2005 President of the Association of Wedding Professionals in Dallas; was a member of Wedding Entrepreneurs of Distinction, Wedding and Party Professionals of Naples, and Wedding Careers Worldwide.
Lisa has served on the Judges Panel for the Miss Texas, Miss Teen Texas, Miss Naples and Miss Teen Naples Pageants, is a subject matter expert on social and business etiquette, has served as a guest speaker for local colleges and business associations and donates her time to local charity events.
